民主黨中央委員會今天晚上收到許智峯的退黨通知，中委會尊重和理解其決定，並已接納其退黨申請。

 

許智峯一直在抗爭運動站在最前線，對香港的承擔有目共睹，民主黨衷心感謝他多年來在黨內、議會、社區和公民社會各層面的付出和貢獻，祝願他及家人平安。

 

The Democratic Party received from Ted Hui tonight a note of withdrawal from the party. The Central Committee respects and understands his decision and has accepted it with immediate effect.

 

Ted, who have been at the forefront of the Hong Kong struggle, is well known for his commitment towards Hong Kong. We are sincerely grateful to him for his efforts and contributions at various levels, in the party, legislative and district councils, as well as the community and civil society as a whole all these years. We wish him and his family peace and every success.
